[He doesn't remember exactly how he met the other man. Diarmuid, who Prompto fondly calls Dia, is one of the coolest guys he knows. He's a cheerful guy, that Dia, and he always brings a smile to Prompto's face when they're hanging out. It's obvious that Prompto likes Diarmuid. As a friend, at least! That's what he tells himself.

You know, just in case.

The school they went to, while not prestigous by any standards, was still a fine school. Prompto was there as a Photography major, which made sense. He was always getting pictures of his favorite subjects. Things like trees, flowers and animals, those were all simple topics (although Prompto seemed to favor birds over all else), and he always seemed to know where to get the best lighting.

When it came to human subjects, he got pictures of all his friends. Noctis was a common subject, followed by Gladio and then Ignis. They were all willing to humor him as he tried to get better pictures of all of them. But, his latest subject, which Noctis had come to tease him about, always seemed to have a good picture, no matter what.

"Well well, seems our little friend here might have a crush."

Noctis had teased him, which made Gladio laugh when the blonde's face turned red.

It wasn't a crush.

Hey! Come on! Y'don't gotta go to class just yet, right?

[Prompto's smile was cheerful, bubbly, and bright. People weren't kidding when they said he reminded them of the sun.]

Well then, it's settled. I can hardly deny my favorite photographer such a good model just so a teacher can yell at me about being late to class. It would be a waste of valuable talent!

[Diarmuid will be kind and let Prompto's little slip slide. He doesn't want the poor guy hyperventilating or passing out from embarrassment.]
